Snowed in Comedy Tour brings laughs to Dekker Centre
For the past 10 years, the Snowed in Comedy Tour has grown into one of the largest comedy tours in Canada playing to sellout venues from coast to coast.
The comedy tour which began in Prince George B.C. on Jan. 3 makes a stop at the Dekker Centre in North Battleford on Wednesday, March 7 at 8 p.m. and will feature four award-winning comedians under one roof.
“It’s going to be an incredible evening,” said funny man Damonde Tschritter from his hotel in Medicine Hat prior to going on stage. ”The great thing about this show is you get to see four headliners on stage. Each one of us at one time has headlined a comedy show at one time or another and brings something different to the stage.”
Tschritter is from Vancouver B.C. and has been hailed by The Globe and Mail as “comedy’s new superhero” and “perhaps this country’s finest storyteller”. This year marks his 20th anniversary in standup comedy having honed his skills while sharing the stage with legends Robin Williams, Bog Saget and Tim Allen.
