P.A. arts community prepares for annual showcase
Final preparations have begun for the annual Aurora Art Show and Sale, a showcase of Prince Albert’s artistic community.
Mary Mcleod, one of the artists and founding members involed, said it’s a very exciting event to be a part of.
“I think, because we are all artists, we can’t stop painting or creating, whether it’s pottery or photography, so it just gives us another outlet to work with,” she said.
A total of 11 artists have been gathered for this year’s event and they come from a wide range of disciplines including painting, photography, jewelry-making, and pottery. Cheryl Ring, who is well known for her pottery, has been involved with the show for seven years.
