Central Park illuminations part of revitalization and safety plans
People taking a stroll through Central Park, beside North Battleford Library, in the evening will notice the park is a whole lot brighter for their short journey.
The City of North Battleford has installed LED lighting to 27 trees last week to illuminate the park after dark and increase safety.
The soft white lights are light-activated so they will go on at dusk and extinguish at dawn automatically each night.
Mayor Ryan Bater said the project has been a good addition to downtown.
