P.A. Police identify suspect in homicide case

A suspect has been named in connection to Prince Albert’s first homicide of 2018.
 
Tyrone Nontell, 32, is facing a charge of second degree murder, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
 
Tyrell Bird, 28, was shot June 28 in an alley of the 200 block of 9th Street East. Bird was taken to hospital in Saskatoon, where he remained on life support for four days before succumbing to his injuries.
 
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Nontell is encouraged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
