Sobeys Liquor store opens in Humboldt

On Thursday, Feb. 7, the new Sobeys Liquor store in Humboldt officially opened to the public, following suit with Tisdale which opened its store in 2018.

Humboldt Store Manager Kalvan Manderscheid said it’s a great addition to the city.

“It’s exciting for our town,” Manderscheid told northeastNOW. “Everybody that’s been in so far has been very pleased. We have a huge selection, and we’re hoping to be different. We support local, and that’s kind of what we focus on is local, and giving the best customer service we can.”

Manderscheid added there are several local products available at the store.
