Three arrested after traffic stop in Prince Albert

Two men and a woman are facing charges after a drug bust in Prince Albert.

On Friday, Feb. 15 at around 6 p.m., the Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 Block of 12th St. W.

Three people in the vehicle were arrested after police seized 51.2 grams of methamphetamine, 0.7 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

A 24-year-old man and 23-year-old man from Prince Albert, along with a 26-year-old woman from La Ronge are now charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

Two of the accused will appear in court on Feb. 25 while the third accused has been remanded into custody and will appear in provincial court on Tuesday.
