We are running another group!!!

Taming the Tiger is a group program for children between the ages of 6 – 13 and their parents to learn how to deal with anger.

A Family Life Education Program proudly developed and delivered by CFSPA.

GOALS:

· To help children and parents learn skills and behaviours with which to manage their anger in healthy and positive ways.

· Participants learn fundamentals of anger and how they react physically and emotionally when angry.

· Participants develop strategies to work through their anger in healthy ways.

· The parent component provides parents with effective techniques to deal with aggressive behaviour.

Taming the Tiger Program uses a variety of activities which are designed to improve self esteem, communication skills and problem solving and to learn anger management by using:

Role Playing Crafts

Games Stories

Talk Time

* Transportation and lunch provided.
