Home destroyed by fire in R.M. of Moose Range

A home was destroyed by fire in the R.M. of Moose Range early yesterday morning.

Carrot River Fire and Rescue responded to the fire at 1 a.m. Three occupants and one family pet were able to exit the home safely after being woke in the middle of the night by smoke alarms.

The Carrot River department had assistance from the RCMP, Northeast EMS, SaskEnergy and SaskPower.

The department also had assistance from locals Chase and Russel Wlaz who hauled water during the firefighting efforts.
