Humboldt residents wins $150,000 with scratch off

A Humboldt resident in $150,000 richer after winning on a scratch off bought in town.

Eva Rowe won the prize after scratching off her $5 XTREME GREEN Zing ticket that she bought at the Humboldt Co-op Food Store. It took her a bit to scratch the ticket, but she quickly realized her winnings.

“I scratched the ticket and uncovered the number two,” Rowe said. “Two has always been a favourite number for me – I have twos in my birthdate, and I’m a Gemini, which is a twin sign.”

As for what she and her husband plan to do with the winnings?
