Tommy John Ehman Band performs in Loon Lake to raise money for Wounded Warriors Canada
Loon Lake residents are getting a preview of the Dog Patch Music Festival as one of the performers is set to play a concert at the Loon Lake Legion on Saturday.
The legion and festival partnered to bring the Tommy John Ehman Band to Loon Lake. The concert raises awareness for PTSD and any money raised will go toward Wounded Warriors Canada.
Festival owner Marc Butler said this concert is a personal project as his father, Steven Craig Butler, was a veteran.
“My dad was in the Vietnam War so I had first hand experience with witnessing PTSD for years,” Butler said. “I’m also a legion member in Loon Lake and I wanted to do something with the festival for that group because the money goes directly to wounded soldiers.”
