Composite sketches of two suspects involved in a home invasion and shooting last month have been released by the RCMP.

Police say officers attended a Meadow Lake apartment June 30 to respond to a complaint of a woman shot in the arm.

The victim was laying in bed when she was struck by a bullet discharged from a gun in a separate room in the apartment. It was reported this happened during an argument between two unknown men. Both fled the apartment after the shooting.

Police say the men were staying with the victim and her boyfriend, both of whom are not known to the victim. It is believed they used alias names.

The first man is described as 40 years old, 5-6 to 5-9 tall with a thin build. He had a receding hairline with short braids and speaks with an accent. The man was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and black jogging pants.

The second man wears glasses, has short hair an stands approximately six-feet tall. He is of heavier build and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and grey joggers.
