A mature white-tailed deer left for waste has SaskTip looking for the culprits.
Humboldt Conservation Officers received a call on July 8 from a landowner who discovered the deer left in a field about two miles southeast of St. Brieux.
There was no season open at the time and no effort was made to recover any of the meat from the deer.
The incident is believed to have occurred on the weekend of July 6 and 7.
