First responders disassembling drug operation in Humboldt

Fire responders in Humboldt are investigating and disassembling what is believed to be a clandestine drug manufacturing operation.

Humboldt and Lanigan RCMP – along with the Humboldt Fire, Humboldt EMS, and the Saskatoon RCMP Federal Serious Organized Crime unit – executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of 14^th street in Humboldt.

The search began at around 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 18 and is expected to continue into the early evening hours.

Humboldt RCMP said in a release that traffic in the area has been restricted for public safety and will continue to be until the search is completed. Traffic is expected to be restored to normal early in the evening.
