Turtleford RCMP searching for vehicles after armed home invasion in rural area

Police are on the lookout for a two specific vehicles after an armed home invasion in a rural location southeast of Glaslyn

Officers began investigating after receiving the complaint yesterday, Aug. 18 around 2:45 p.m.

A man, who was alone at the residence at the time, reported several males wearing masks forcefully entered the home and assaulted him. The man said one of the males was carrying a firearm.

The victim did not require medical treatment.

Police say the men then stole a grey 1983 Dodge Ramcharger SUV from the property.

The vehicle’s Saskatchewan licence plate may be 213LEY although it may have been changed since the incident.

Police are asking for the public to also be on the lookout for a black Jeep CJ two-door with wide tires and black rims. The vehicle may also be muddy.

If you observe either of these vehicles, you are not to approach as the occupants may be armed. Instead, call police at 911.
