Co-accused in Jonson homicide awaiting completion of bail supervision report

A co-accused in the homicide of Mark Douglas Jonson returned to North Battleford Provincial Court via closed-circuit television Wednesday.

David Keller is facing a charge of first degree murder. The 47-year-old from North Battleford is in custody at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre.

Jonson, 61, was found dead at a home on 15 Ave. and 100 St. on July 5.

Keller’s case was adjourned to Sept. 5 for a bail supervision report to be completed.

Nicolas Buck is the other person charged in Jonson’s murder. The 22-year-old is facing 10 charges, including first-degree murder for the July 3 incident.

Buck was located the morning of July 13 after officers issued a warrant for his arrest. He is in court Thursday.
