First arrests made as Loon Lake RCMP work to suppress gang activity

The first arrests have been made as officers in Loon Lake work on a project to suppress gang activity and drug sales in the community.
On Aug. 18, 29-year-old Matthew Belly from Onion Lake and Nicole Wolfe, 24, from the Makwa First Nation were arrested.
Both are charged with trafficking crystal meth, trafficking cocaine and possession of the proceeds of a crime under $5,000
RCMP said the investigation remains ongoing and more arrests are expected shortly as it unfolds.
