Green Lake RCMP turn to public after AED stolen from local arena

Officers in Green Lake are asking for the public’s help after someone stole an automated external defibrillator (AED) between Aug. 1 and 27 from the arena.
Police, residents and village officials said in a press release they find the theft “extremely troubling” as the equipment could save a life and renders no monetary value to those who took it.
The RCMP said there have been other reports of several sheds and vehicles rummaged through as of late and remind people to lock and secure their property.
Anyone with information is asked to contact people or Crime Stoppers.
