Man charged with impaired driving after rollover near Kinistino makes first court appearance

A James Smith First Nation man involved in a single-vehicle collision in the R.M. of Kinistino made his first appearance in Melfort Provincial Court.

Creedon Dipaolo, 23, is charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm.

Dipaolo told Judge Lloyd Stang in court that he intends to seek legal advice and see if he can qualify for Legal Aid. The case was adjourned to Tuesday, Oct. 8 for defence election.

RCMP determined two adult men and two adult women were travelling northbound in a half-ton pickup truck before it lost control on the gravel road. Police, local fire departments, and emergency medical services responded to the scene north of Kinistino on Saturday, Aug. 10.
