Wanted man arrested by La Ronge RCMP

According to a media release from the La Ronge RCMP, Sanderson was located and now faces 13 more criminal charges.

He is charged with assaulting a police officer, disarming a police officer, resisting a peace officer, unsafe storage of firearms, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm/prohibited weapon when knowing possession is unauthorized, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition without a licence or registration, possession of a weapon obtained by crime, possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number, weapons possession contrary to order, possession of cocaine, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

La Ronge RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for a man whose charges originate from outside of the community.

John Riley Sanderson, 31, is wanted for failing to stop after an accident, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to comply with undertaking and assault. Sanderson is approximately five-feet, seven-inches tall and 170 pounds.
