Vehicle hits parked car in Melfort, person sent to hospital

One person has been taken to hospital after a collision on Main Street in Melfort.

Melfort Fire Chief Jason Everitt told northeastNOW a truck struck a parked vehicle in the 500 block of Main Street this morning.

Everitt said emergency crews initiated CPR on one person, and used an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

The patient was transported to hospital by paramedics. The status of their condition is unknown.
