Hway 2 closed for over 4 hours after crash

Highway 2 south of Prince Albert was closed to traffic for over four hours last night and early this morning after a motor vehicle collision.

RCMP reported around 11 p.m. the highway was blocked in both directions 15 km south of the city after the incident. It did not re-open until after 3: 30 a.m.

A detour was in place and motorists were able to use grid roads around the accident site.

RCMP did not immediately issue any further details.
