Pedestrian hit by pickup truck at Highway 2 crosswalk

A 62-year-old man is recovering in a Saskatoon hospital after being struck at a crosswalk on Highway 2.

According to an RCMP media release, the collision between the northbound pickup truck and a pedestrian occurred at the intersection with the 101 Reserve near Air Ronge on Nov. 29 at approximately 6:40 p.m. The pedestrian was first taken to hospital in La Ronge via ambulance and later flown to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

The investigation is still ongoing and at present no charges have been laid.
