Three Teens Charged

Female youth charged in physical assault of adult

A physical altercation between three female youth in Meadow Lake lands one adult in hospital.

On Jan. 15 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Meadow Lake RCMP responded to the report of a physical altercation outside a residence.

One adult female was taken to hospital via air ambulance for treatment of what are reported to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the altercation.

Three females ages 13, 15 and 17, have been arrested and have been charged with Aggravated Assault.

The 15 year-old female was also charged with Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

Their names will not be released in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

All three females are being remanded until their court appearance in Meadow Lake on Monday, Jan. 20 at 9:30 a.m.
