Carlton students welcome new space
Media production students at Carlton Comprehensive High School have a new space to work in.
On Tuesday the school officially debuted its new media studio. The facilities feature a large space along with lighting, camera equipment and computers equipped with editing software.
Dani Van Steelandt, media arts teacher at Carlton, said the new space provides students a valuable venue.
“We didn’t have a place where kids could set up kind of projects long term, where they could leave things put,” she said.
