RCMP investigate suspicious death of missing person

Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man found near Onion Lake.
During the afternoon on March 6, Onion Lake RCMP responded to a report of a deceased person found along a road nearly 35 km northeast of Onion Lake Cree Nation.
The man has been identified as 24-year-old David Jonas Tobac, who Lloydminster RCMP reported missing Feb. 29.
A March 10 autopsy confirmed Tobac’s death is suspicious in nature. Members of the RCMP Major Crimes Unit North are continuing their investigation.
