Keeping the Community Updated

Cancellations and Postponements as of March 16th in PA Area

Mar 17, 2020 | 11:21 AM

Please see a listing of the following (7) cancelled/postponed events re: adherence to covid-19 protocols provided by health officials:

1. Big Sisters Big Brothers 2020 Bowl for Kids Fundraiser

The well-being of our families, volunteers, staff and community members is important to us. We have been paying close attention to the recent global outbreak of COVID-19. Although the Public Health Agency of Canada has assessed the public health risk as low for Canada, we are taking precautions throughout our organization.

We have made the decision to postpone the Prince Albert 2020 Bowl For Kids Sake to a later date. At this time we feel it is too early to determine what that date will be.

Bowl For Kids Sake is an important event for Big Brothers Big Sisters and funds raised are critical in allowing us to continue to support current and make new life changing matches for youth facing adversities in our community, which is why we have made the decision to postpone versus cancel at this time.

We truly appreciate all of commitments to being part of this year’s event and I will reach out to you again once we are ready to move forward with rescheduling our fundraiser.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
