Nipawin bridge project to resume in mid-April
Fine-tuning of the $8 million dollar bridge project on Highway 55 north of Nipawin will resume.
A release from the town said the contractor – Stantec – will begin work on Monday, April 13. Some traffic restrictions expected include:
- One lane operation at 30 km/h when entering the bridge
- Temporary traffic lights or flaggers to guide drivers
- Traffic stops no longer than 20 minutes to allow entry for the contractor’s equipment
The town expects work on the bridge to be a short duration.
