Man charged with bootlegging in Pelican Narrows

One man has been charged by RCMP for bootlegging in Pelican Narrows.
That’s according to an RCMP press release, which states a search warrant was execute April 15 on Jan Street. During the search of the residence, more than 30 varied bottles of liquor and drug paraphernalia were located.
Police noted an air rifle, rifle and shotgun ammunition were also located and seized during the search.
As a result, one adult male was charged with bootlegging under the provincial Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act. The individual has not been named and the investigation is ongoing.
