PA Pharmacy Awards $10,000 in Scholarship Funding to Local Health Care Professionals

In February, the Victoria Hospital Foundation announced a partnership with Rizwan and Saima Ali of PA Pharmacy to benefit health care professionals at the Victoria Hospital seeking to further their education.

The Dr. M.Z. Hussain Memorial Scholarship Program is offered in honour of Dr. Hussain who was a pillar of support in our community for many years and who was passionately committed to the mental health of our citizens and youth.

He dedicated his entire career to saving lives and helping those with severe mental health illness.

The$10,000 scholarship program contains grants for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and allied health care professionals as well as funds specifically dedicated to mental health.
