Man killed in highway crash outside Paradise Hill

RCMP have declared a man dead following a rollover on Highway 3.

At 1 a.m. this morning, RCMP units from Maidstone, Onion Lake and Turtleford, along with Lloydminster Search and Rescue, responded to the incident west of Paradise Hill. A Ford F-150 was found on its roof in a slough.

The 56-year-old male driver, and lone occupant, was declared deceased on scene. So far, the investigation has found the truck was travelling East Bound on Highway 3 when the driver lost control, rolled and came to rest. A Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist and members of the Saskatchewan Coroners Service also attended the scene.

The highway was reopened at 9 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
