Man facing firearm charges in Grandmother’s Bay
Firearm charges have been laid against an 18-year-old man from Grandmother’s Bay.
According to an RCMP media release, officers in Stanley Mission received several 911 calls from Grandmother’s Bay about an intoxicated male allegedly pointing a firearm at several individuals. RCMP from La Ronge and Stanley Mission attended the scene.
Upon arrival, police searched the area where the man was last seen and located him at a nearby residence. RCMP noted he was arrested without incident.
Pacey McKenzie of Grandmother’s Bay is charged with pointing a firearm, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and careless use of a firearm.
