Precautionary health advisory issued after two positive COVID-19 cases after funeral in Clearwater River Dene
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is issuing a precautionary health advisory after two people who attended a wake and funeral in Clearwater River Dene tested positive for the coronavirus after developing symptoms.
The positive results are as of today.
After a further assessment of the situation, health officials from the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority and the Saskatchewan Health Authority are advising anyone who attended either of these events to self-isolate and self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms. The amount of time is for 14 days from the date of attendance.
The wake was held June 10 and the funeral was held June 11.
