No fatalities reported during morning collision on Highway 304

Highway 304 heading toward Loon Lake has been reopened after a multi vehicle crash at approximately 9.44 a.m. on June 19.

According to RCMP spokesperson Jessica Cantos, there were no fatalities in the multi-vehicle collision which happened along Highway 304 at Morin Creek.

“It involved two pickup trucks and four individuals,” she said. “One in one pickup truck and three passengers in the other.”

One truck was westbound when it collided with another truck travelling in the same direction along Highway 304.

According to Cantos, the driver and lone occupant of one pickup truck was reported to not have sustained any injuries from the collision.

In the second pickup truck which contained three occupants, the adult male driver was transported to hospital in Meadow Lake by ground ambulance for what were reported to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The adult female passenger was transported to hospital in Saskatoon by STARS air ambulance for what were reported to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The other adult male passenger was reported to not have sustained any serious injuries from the collision.

The highway was closed for a short period of time and has since reopened.
