Local group ready to offer programming
Catholic Family Services in Prince Albert is looking to get the ball rolling on some summer programming.
The organization is getting ready to bring back their Strengthening Families Program. The initiative is to help kids between the ages of seven and 16 along with their caregivers to improve their skills in a range of areas from communication to conflict reduction.
Tara Switenky, project coordinator for Strengthening Families said they are able to offer the program as phase four of the province’s reopen plan covers services like it.
Switenky said they have made some changes to how they are going to offer the services to protect the safety of people.
