La Ronge RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating and identifying two individuals involved in a break-and-enter at a pharmacy.

When officers arrived on scene, the pharmacy was broken into and ransacked. A significant amount of prescription narcotics was confirmed to be stolen from a locked medical cabinet.

Surveillance video revealed two individuals were involved in the crime, RCMP added, but no further description is available at this time. The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the La Ronge RCMP General Investigation Section.

La Ronge RCMP are advising the community and surrounding areas of the potential for the prescription narcotics to affect the health of anyone who illegally purchases these substances or consumes them without a doctor’s prescription.
