B.C. saw 236 COVID-19 cases over past three days, including largest single-day total
KAMLOOPS — Provincial health officials are reporting 236 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C. over the past three days — though other totals are quite positive.
Health Minister Adrian Dix was joined by Deputy Provincial Health Officer Dr. Reka Gustafson in reporting the COVID-19 case count has now reached 4,594 in B.C. since the pandemic arrived in B.C.
Gustafson said 100 new cases were recorded Saturday (Aug. 15) — the largest single-day increase since the pandemic began — 88 on Sunday and 48 on Monday.
