Swinnerton and Blake to tee off for the Jr. Lobstick championship

Saskatoon’s Alex Swinnerton and Regina’s Will Blake will tee off against each other on Friday with the 2020 Coca Cola Junior Lobstick championship on the line in Waskesiu.

Swinnerton is quite familiar with the course as he golfs out of the Waskesiu Golf Course in the summer. Swinnerton earned the tournament’s top seed in the qualifying event on Monday, being the only golfer to shoot under par at -2. Swinnerton beat Luke Cote, Tommy Danielson to start his tournament, before defeating Adam Husli in the semifinals on Thursday to advance to the finals.

Will Blake was the sixth seed after the qualifying round, before defeating Cort Tunall, Lucas Langois and Carter Bell on his way to the championship finals.

Swinnerton and Blake will tee off at 9:10 a.m. to decide the victor of the tournament.

Darien Herlick and Brett Leonard will battle in the Championship Consolation flight.
