Through the magic of cinema, the Reels on Wheel sdrive-in movie tour will offer a covid-friendly way to spend time with your loved ones.

Come watch Disney/Pixar’s‘ ONWARD on a 4-storey drive-in movie screen at Frank Dunn Toyota on Monday, August 24.

Across Western Canada, The Prairie Toyota Dealers Reels on Wheels will be bringing communities together and raising money for local charities with their outdoor movie events.

Simply show up in your car, tune into the FM radio station and watch a movie under the stars from the comfort of your car while staying safe in light of COVID-19.

The tour will be hosting events in 24 communities across MB, SK, AB & BC. All events will be ‘by donation’with 100% of proceeds going to a local charity in each community.

“In a time when we’ve had to adapt to physical distancing, and when so many families and friends have been forced to spend time alone in their homes, we’re excited to once again bring the joy of drive-in movies to families across the province,” said Jason Bashnick, Managing Director, Fresh Air Cinema.

“These offer a place and unique experience where we can all connect safely and watch our favorite stories on screen under a starlit sky”.

We truly want to support the communities that we serve, by offering an event that loved ones can spend time with friends and family,” said Sheldon Lachambre, Business Lead of the Prairie Toyota Dealers. “This event offers a place where we can all connect safely and watch our favourite films from the comfort of our own cars. You can bring the whole family and truly enjoy a nostalgic event at the Drive-In movie. We also have giveaways and a grand prize contest where our attendees across the Prairies can enter to win a one-year lease of a 2020 Toyota Tundra or Tacoma and a private VIP backyard movie experience”.

This will be the 14th year Fresh Air Cinema has been bringing the year’s greatest movie releases along with cult classics to parking lots and outdoor venues throughout the country.

This will be the first time The Prairie Toyota Dealers Association will be hosting these events and they are excited to invite the community to these events in order to raise money to support a variety of organizations.

For the upcoming event in Prince Albert, presented by Frank Dunn Toyota,they are supporting Rose Garden Hospice. The movie will start at 9:30 pm and gates will open at 8:30 pm.
