Possible COVID-19 exposure at two Prince Albert businesses
The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced on Saturday evening that a person who tested positive for COVID-19 visited two Prince Albert businesses while they were likely infectious.
The individual visited the Dollarama and Safeway locations on Second Ave. West between 10 a.m. and noon on Friday.
The SHA also issued similar warnings earlier on Saturday in Regina. A person who tested positive for COVID-19 visited the Designer Shoe Warehouse Harbour Landing location on Aug. 14 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Aug. 16 between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Aug. 17 between noon and 1 p.m., and Aug. 19 between noon and 8:30 p.m.
Public Health officials are asking those who visited either store during that time frame that are showing symptoms of COVID-19 to self-isolate immediately and call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing. For those that are not exhibiting symptoms but visited the stores at those times, they are asked to self-monitor for two weeks.
