Two new COVID-19 cases, five people currently in hospital
The Saskatchewan Health Authority has two new COVID-19 cases to report on Saturday, one in Saskatoon and the other in the South West region.
That puts the reported case total up to 1,597, 117 of which are considered active. There have been 1,458 recoveries to date.
Five people are in hospital. One person is receiving inpatient care and four people are in intensive care, all in Saskatoon.
Investigations completed thus far have found that 76 of 117 active cases are in communal living settings.
