Six kilograms suspected cocaine seized after traffic stop near Wynyard

A 33-year-old woman from Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. has charges pending after a traffic stop near Wynyard on Highway 16 on Monday night.
According to a media release, during the traffic stop at 9 p.m. officers noticed the woman, who was the lone occupant, was in possession of unstamped tobacco.
She was arrested for being in possession of unstamped tobacco and a subsequent vehicle search then turned up more unstamped tobacco, as well as six kilograms of suspected cocaine.
The female was then arrested for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
