SaskTel working to restore landline and data services in Spiritwood

Aug 26, 2020 | 9:54 AM

SaskTel cellular services have been restored in rural areas surrounding Spiritwood.

Crews worked throughout Tuesday night and all SaskTel services including wireless, landline and data services have been restored in Mildred, Chitek Lake, Leoville, Shell Lake, Witchekan Lake, Rabbit Lake, and Belbutte.

The Spiritwood exchange still does not have landline or data services. The Cellular on Wheels (COW) is still operational in the area and SaskTel will work to restore landline and data in the area.

SaskTel are asking residents in Spiritwood to only make emergency voice calls until all services in the area are restored.
