There are four new cases of COVID-19 and 12 more recoveries to report in Saskatchewan.

The latest numbers brings the total amount to 1,619 reported cases. The new cases are located in Saskatoon (one), Central East (one), South West (one) and South Central (one) zones.

Of the total amount, 34 cases are considered active, with five of those cases in communal living settings. There have been 1,561 recoveries.

Three people are in hospital. One is receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon and two people are in the intensive care unit in Saskatoon.

There are 269 cases involving people aged 19 and under. There are 521 cases in the 20 to 39 age range, 494 in the 40 to 59 age range, 277 in the 60 to 79 age range and 58 are in the 80-plus age range.

Fifty-one per cent of cases are females and 49 per cent are males.
