New Saskatchewan residents invited to winter preparedness clinics in Humboldt area
Winter preparedness clinics are being hosted by Safe Communities Humboldt and Area for new Saskatchewan residents.
The clinics offer information to those not familiar with a cold Saskatchewan winter, according to Executive Director Shari Hinz.
“We have severe conditions in our winter and so we want to make sure that people are prepared and know that conditions can change quickly,” Hinz said.
Topics covered include safe winter travel, pedestrian/vehicle safety, proper dress and the signs and symptoms of frostbite and hypothermia.
