Fishing Lake First Nation School closes to students due to nearby cases of COVID-19
The Chief Sabitawasis School on the Fishing Lake First Nation has closed and will move to online learning because of nearby cases of COVID-19.
An advisory was sent out on Tuesday night from the Saskatchewan Health Authority about potential COVID-19 exposure at businesses in nearby Wynyard and Foam Lake.
The advisory included the Preston Crossing Walmart in Saskatoon on Sept. 4, 5, 7, and 10. The Foam Lake Husky on Sept. 6 and the Wynyard A&W the same evening.
The school made a post on Facebook later that same night stating the closure of the school, effective the next day.
