Several local businesses will be recognized for their work in the community this evening at the Battlefords Business Excellence Awards (BBEX).
The 27th annual iteration of the event will be presented at the Capitol Theatre with a floor plan to keep every audience member socially distanced through four theatre auditoriums. The categories are Business Resilience, Community Support, Everyday Heroes and the Heather Guthrie Community Service Star Award. Twenty-eight businesses are the finalists between the four categories.
The BBEX Awards get underway at 7:30 p.m.
