The potential armed and barricaded situation reported earlier today on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation has concluded.
According to Saskatchewan RCMP, the situation that prompted a heavy police presence in the area resulted in one adult male being taken safely into custody and no other individuals found in the residence.
All RCMP officers and additional resources have cleared the scene and law enforcement does not believe there is a risk to public safety at this point in relation to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
