Living Sky School Division released a statement Monday, announcing two more cases of COVID-19 were identified within the division at the end of last week.

One case was diagnosed in an individual in Connaught Elementary School. The other diagnosed individual was at North Battleford Comprehensive High School.

LSSD is continuing to work closely with public health officials as they work to enact COVID-19 precautionary measures, such as contact-tracing.

Both schools were deep cleaned and sanitized and remain open at this time. NBCHS has moved to Level 3 of the Safe Schools Plan this week, dividing classes with partial in-class and partial at-home learning.

Anyone entering a school is asked to self monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and call HealthLine at 811 and remain at home if they are detected. To protect the privacy of the individuals, no further details are being shared at this time.

As of November 22, there are 6,473 positive cases of COVID-19 in the province, along with 3,757 recoveries and 33 deaths.
