Mustangs postpone hockey activities due to COVID-19 exposure

The Melfort Mustangs have postponed hockey activities for the week after a COVID-19 exposure.

The team said in a release they have postponed their upcoming games with the Battlefords North Stars for Nov. 27 and 28.

On Saturday, Nov. 21, the team postponed their game against the La Ronge Ice Wolves due to the same COVID-19 exposure.

This marks the second time this season the Mustangs have had to shut down hockey activities due to COVID-19. A player had tested positive for the virus back in September.

Melfort is allowed to begin skating again on Sunday, Nov. 29. Their next scheduled game would then be on Friday, Dec. 4 against La Ronge.
