Salvation Army kettle campaign kicks off in Melfort
Salvation Army kettles are now set-up around the community.
Fedusiak Funeral Chapel provided a $1,000 cheque to kick-off the kettle campaign on Monday, Nov. 23 in Melfort.
“Our goal this year is $17,000, and we are really hoping to meet that as it is going to be a difficult year,” Captain Rick Robins said. “We can’t do a lot of the fundraising that we normally would have done.”
Darren Fedusiak presented the cheque to the Salvation Army in hopes of encouraging other businesses to do the same.
